Saguaro National Park

Saguaro National Park consists of two distinct districts. Marana is closest to the West District, and the East District is closer to Tuscon. Approximately 92,000 acres of cactus forests, desert mountain peaks, streams, washes, waterfalls, ancient petroglyphs, and more are preserved between both Saguaro National Park districts. The West District preserves over 25,000 acres while the East District has over 67,000 acres. Experience both the desert floor, desert uplands, and the largest and most impressive cacti you’ll see anywhere on earth.

Tuscon Museum of Art and Historic Block

The Tuscon Museum of Art and Historic Block encompasses an entire city block in historic downtown and houses a growing collection of nearly 12,000 works of art spanning over 3,000 years of history. Rotating and permanent collection exhibitions feature original and traveling shows focusing on Art of Latin America, Art of the American West, Indigenous Arts, and Modern and Contemporary, with related docent-led tours, educational activities, community engagement programs, and a Museum Store to delight and educate visitors.

Mount Lemmon

Mount Lemmon’s hiking and biking trails range from novice to expert. In addition, the ride up Mount Lemmon is a destination for pro-cycling teams and ambitious riders, who have said it’s one of the best bike rides in North America. Mount Lemmon’s 9,171 foot peak is the highest point in the Santa Catalina Mountains.

The museum features 400 historic aircraft, from a Wright Flyer to a 787 Dreamliner on over 80 acres, with six indoor exhibit hangars (three dedicated to WWII).

Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum

One of the most visited attractions in Southern Arizona, this destination includes a 98-acre zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, natural history museum, and art gallery. The museum is home to over 230 animal species, 1,200 varieties of plants and two miles of walking paths over 21 acres of desert landscape.

Mission San Xavier del Bac

A National Historic Landmark founded as a Catholic mission by Father Eusebio Kino in 1692. The oldest intact European structure in Arizona, the interior is filled with original statuary and mural paintings. Each year, over 200,000 visitors from all over the world come to view what is widely considered to be the finest example of Spanish Colonial architecture in the United States.
